Im interested in the following items:
- Crossbow of Distance (so I have a ranged weapon - would be nice for a little detail)
- Scarab (if you're at the front it can help keep you alive)
- Mace (believe its a +2 and Mark already has a +2 ... for hitting skellingggtons)
- Ring+2 (unless someone who has a +1 wants to upgrade, I'll take their +1, just to help with saving throws, No AC benefit)

I think he may be able to use the +2 shield too - will check

According to an online review on Rod of Smiting

However https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Rod_of_Smiting states it can only be used by Clerics and Wizards

Where do we stand on that?

Rod of Smiting is not in 3.5 as far as i can see.
In 1st edition its cleric or fighter so unless Mark has a different preference that's what it should be.
